Model Tatjana Genrich is more than a pretty face who was once crowned Miss Germany. She can fight and announced on Tuesday that she's stepping into the ring next month for her first fight as a professional boxer.

The 33-year-old model isn't new to lacing up the gloves.

Before being crowned Miss Germany 2022 and taking home the "Best in Swimsuit" award and the "Miss Intercontinental Europe" crown at the Miss Intercontinental 2022 pageant, she was an amateur boxer.

Not any amateur boxer either. The German outlet Bild reports that Genrich was an amateur state champion in the flyweight division for three consecutive years from 2007 to 2009.

"I became enthusiastic about the sport very early on. I was often bullied at school, and I wanted to fight back somehow," she said. "That's how it all started."

Obviously, Genrich had modeling to do and pageants to compete in before finally making her dream of going pro in boxing a reality. But here we are, the former Miss Germany is preparing to step into the ring for a pro fight.

She was approached about getting back in the ring because she sponsors ring girls for SES Boxing events, and they were apparently aware of her past. She's set to appear on the promotion's November 14 fight card.

The former amateur champ, who looks great in a bikini, is working with coach Dirk Dzemski. He previously helped train Robert Stieglitz, a former German boxer who had two reigns as WBO super-middleweight champ.

"I want to be a role model for young women and show them that you can be successful in both your career and sports," Genrich added.

She's in the gym working on her boxing five days a week preparing for an unknown opponent. She said of the training, "I work up a good sweat. But no pain, no gain. I'm really enjoying it, though."

Tatjana Genrich isn't just going through the motions with another best in swimsuit award on her mind. Bild reported "her ultimate goal is to become world champion one day."
